Exactly when you thought the smartphone stadium is getting crowded, AOC, the US based company is popular for its wide range of LED and LCD displays, has reported that it will enter the Indian smartphone region with two 3G empowered smartphones and a 3G voice tablet. The E40 and M601 are 3G capable smartphones, while the D70V50 is a 3G network supported voice calling tablet. The E40 is a budget segment smartphone valued at Rs 4,490, while the M601 and D70V50 are estimated at Rs 7,990 and Rs 7,750 respectively.
The AOC E40 sports a 4-inch screen with 480×800 pixels resolution and is controlled by a 1.2GHz MTK6572 dual core processor matched with 512MB RAM. Additionally included are a 2-megapixel back camera, VGA front camera and the normal connectivity integration like dual SIM card openings, 3G capability, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The AOC M601 is a reasonably priced mid level smartphone offering an enormous 6 inch display, yet with a frustrating qHD 960×540 pixels resolution. It is controlled by a 1.3GHz MTK8312 dual core processor matched with 512MB of RAM. Additionally it is built with 8GB of internal storage which can be knock up with a microSD opening, 5-megapixel back camera, VGA front camera and connectivity options are 3G ability, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The D70V50G tablet upholds 3G and supports voice calling capability. It has a 7-inch screen witha screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is controlled by a MediaTek MTK8321 with clock speed of 1.3GHz. Internal storage of 4G which is a drawback but it can be raised up to 32 by a microSD card. The tablet is furnished with a 2-megapixel back camera alongside a VGA front video calling camera. D70V50G tablet accompanies a 3,000mAh battery bundled and has usual connectivity options.
