Widening its Desire series, HTC has released the HTC Desire 816G, six months after uncovering the Desire 816 in India. The new smartphone is estimated at Rs 18,990, though the first Desire 816 was valued at Rs 24,999. The smartphone will go on live sales in right on October.
The extent that the specifications go, they aren’t that distinctive and the main changes spotted on original Desire 816 and Desire 816G is the processor and the RAM. Where the first Desire 816 was controlled by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, the new Desire 816G is controlled by a 1.3GHz MediaTek quad-core processor. The RAM excessively has been chopped down from 1.5GB to 1GB.
All other specifications remains the same. So basically you get a 5.5-inch 720p display, 8GB internal storage capacity, microSD card space, 13-megapixel back camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,600mAh battery.
Integration shrewd, it has dual SIM card slots, 3G network support, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS, and on the Software front, it is powered by Android’s most recent the 4.4.2 Kitkat form out-of-the-case, wrapped under HTC Sense UI.
