Idea offers i-Roam Packs for international roaming, gives unlimited data roaming

Idea iRoam Pack

Idea Cellular, has introduced i-Roam Packs for international roaming offering reduced international roaming tariff for postpaid customers. A new international data roaming pack offering unlimited data roaming across 8 Asian countries is also being introduced.

i-Roam packs IR1499 and IR599 offer local outgoing calls and SMS at Rs 15/min. While incoming calls and international outgoing calls are charged at Rs 30/min. Data usage is charged at rate of Rs 30/MB. IR1499 pack comes with 30mins bundled incoming mins and has validity of 30 days. While IR599 has only 10 days validity and does not include any free incoming minutes.

Idea has also introduced Data Roam Pack – DR599 offering unlimited data roaming across 8 Asian countries. The plans comes with a daily rental of Rs 599 and is only charged if data is used on the particular day. The pack is only applicable for international data roaming in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Bangladesh and Philippines.

As per Idea, i-Roam Pack offer up to 80% discount on voice and up to 95% discount on data in 40 countries with i-Roam Packs. The new packs will provide relief for customers travelling abroad and can be activated easily by sending SMS.
