Lenovo is working to release low cost 4G LTE smartphone in India

As the 4G networks in India to grow in 2015. Many smartphone manufacturers are eagerly releasing 4G LTE capable smartphones in India to sustain in the trending Indian telecom market. In this row Lenovo is joining.

Lenovo has affirmed it is working to launch a reasonable priced 4G LTE smartphone in India. The smartphone will be published at CES 2015 next week and will be released in India within a week.

“Lenovo to launch a Snapdragon based 410 LTE device to India with an aggressive price point. The device will be launched in India soon after it is showcased at CES 2015.” as reported by BGR India.

As per sources, the device is prone to be like the Lenovo K3, which was released in China this month. However there is now other information about the pricing of the device. Any how Lenovo is in plan to directly compete with the Micromax’s YU Yureka and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. It may cost close with Micromax YU Yureka.

Lenovo is the third largest smartphone merchant in India after it gained Motorola while Xiaomi nearly trails as the fourth largest on the planet. Micromax, stands firmly in the second largest smartphone merchant in India.
