Microsoft’s email service Outlook.com users can now directly save their email attachments directly into OneDrive cloud storage. The update to the web email platform service adds a “Save to OneDrive” that, well, gives you a direct option to save your email attachments to OneDrive.
Beautifully Microsoft updated the option as straight-forward procedure:
“We’ve made it simpler and tidier to manage these email attachments. When you receive an email with an attachment or group of attachments—documents, pictures, music or videos—you can now save them to OneDrive in just one click.”
Files saved in this way are placed into your OneDrive folder with the very evident name of “Email attachments” to make discovering the later simpler. The initial indications of the new feature showed up through the weekend, yet now its accessible to all Outlook.com users.
