Nokia X2 software update gives Gmail services and more

Nokia X2

Microsoft has released another new software update for its Android-based Nokia X2 smartphone that incorporates adding support for interfacing with Google’s Gmail services, alongside some different improvements and added features.

The Android phones from Nokia have long ago done far from offering any immediate access to things like the Google Play Store so this upgrade offers holders of the Nokia X2 access to several Google services. Here’s the change log for the overhaul:

  • Catch quick moving items with the new Smart Mode, and make remarkable photographs by utilizing the Action shot, Best shot, or Motion blur choices.
  • Make your phone more personal than at any time in the past with live wallpapers and new lock screen widgets.
  • Keep your life matched up with OneDrive and OneNote. Get up to 15 GB of individual storage room on Onedrive, and sync up to 500 notes to OneNote.
  • Access your most loved Google services. You can now sync up your Google contacts, and access your Gmail inbox.
  • Find your route anyplace with HERE Maps – get turn-by-turn voice direction with a free worldwide route permit. Requires extra HERE Maps update from Store.
  • Updated Store design – new design to help you discover content all the more effectively, and better combination with third party stores.
  • Included neighborhood calendar schedule help, call reject with a message, parental controls for Store, scene landscape support for mail and messaging, and auto-recognition of mail accounts.

What do you think about the Nokia X2 including somewhat more support for Google’s services?
