Samsung will begin manufacturing its smartphones including its latest flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in India, Asim Warsi, Vice President, Samsung India stated at the great launch occasion today. Samsung has two manufacturing plants in India apart from its three R&D facilities.
It is not simply manufacturing its devices going on in India, but is manufacturing its devices with key innovations on two smartphones which are developed in Samsung’s India R&D centers.
“We developed some camera features, the download booster and browser in India,” Deepesh Shah, head of Samsung’s R&D in India announced at the event.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge pre-orders started today but it will be available from April 10. The Galaxy S6 price sticker from Rs 49,900 for the 32GB variant and Rs 58,900 for the Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB.
