WhatsApp the world’s famous widely used mobile messaging service, now lands on to desktop through web clients. This web client at presently will take functionality through Chrome browser.
WhatsApp in its official blog post stated “For the first time, millions of you will have the ability to use WhatsApp on your web browser. Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device — this means all of your messages still live on your phone.”
This messaging service desktop feature at present works only on the updated versions of WhatsApp on Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry/BB10. Tragically until further notice IOS is not getting the functionality (web client) because of “Apple OS restrictions”.
To pair up your web browser to your WhatsApp client,
- Open web.whatsapp.com web page on your Google Chrome browser.
- You will see a QR code, scan it within WhatsApp and you’re prepared to go.
This finishes pairing processes between WhatsApp on phone and WhatsApp web client. Your phone needs to be in internet for the web client to function properly.
